Electronic spreadsheets have become essential management tools from financial management to natural resource management. In fisheries data management specifically in research, diversified data need to be processed. It may be from biological, physiochemical and geomorphological to production data. These data may be in various format; it may be string/text, quantity (numeric), date/time and spatial location (coordinate, longitude/latitude). Fisheries data are diverse in nature due to type, magnitude, units, aspects, etc. To present these data in tabular form, graphical form and report form, an electronic spreadsheet is a solution. There are various electronic spreadsheets available in the market, but here Microsoft’s Excel is considered. Google Sheets is spreadsheet of Google web-based office suite and Calc of OpenOffice and Lotus 1-2-3 of SmartSuite of Lotus software.
